FOR ALL MEMBERS, NJStangers Cruise on August 9th

what does everybody think of a cruise down to seaside for august 9th or 10th? we have the gsp as the meeting place (if we go on the sunday) and if we go on the saturday maybe meet somewheres close to either the turnpike or parkway. i think if we start getting word out now by then we could have a decent amount of mustangs. i already have an idea for the best route via turnpike or parkway (the specifics of the directions will obviously be based on the starting point).

so basically we need to determine:

saturday or sunday (august 9th or 10th)
and where we will start from if we choose saturday

i think it would be best if we went on the 9th since its a saturday and we wont hit traffic on the way home. we just gotta figure times and a place to meet if we do decide on saturday

I cant make either date. I wont be around much in August. Going on a few vacations and a 3 day baseball camp in PA.

so anybody have suggestions for a meeting place for the saturday date? what time should we start meeting there. i figure we could wait around for a couple hoursto see if anyone else will show and then head down.

i will most likely be down there already (house in seaside) but if not im in...and if im not home i'll meet up...

hmm...august 9th im actually having a carshow...well, my parents' club is anyway. i coach high school cheerleading and were having a car & bike show on august 9th to raise money for the team. its $10 to pre-register, $15 day of....

soooooooo if anyones interested, let me know! its going to be funnn.... Very Happy

hey--you can make it into a mini-meet!!!, even if before you go on your cruise cuz its being held in the afternoon! and then i can come with you guys!

just a heads up, you have to pay to be in the show since its a fundraiser.....but that would be AWESOME if you did that!!!!!!!1 the show is from 11am-4pm, so any time in between would be sweet. and theyre having little events all day, giving out trophies, and my girls are going to perform!

i'm defenetly interested. my birthday is on August 7th so that would be a good present.
i've never been to any shows, and cruising around NJ would be fun. The only problem is that I live in NY, but the good thing is that i live in Staten Island.
what time are we going to go?
