| sorry, i didnt know where else this topic would fit (so sorry if its in the wrong place),
but im desperately looking for ideas for my firebird's rims. Im re-doing the suspension and a few other things, so I figured now would be a good time to get them as well. I had chrome c5 vette rims that I had gotten from a swap meet and i LOVED how they looked, but they just didn't fit right and the car would shake violently when I hit 50+ mph. So I'm pretty much looking for chrome again....i love fat tires & deep dishes, so any suggestions and/or pics you guys may have let me know! ive been looking online for waaay too many weeks, that I feel like i keep seeing the same things over and over! i need fresh ideas!
heres a pic of my baby with the stock rims...

| | Try ccwheel.com They have a nice selection of lightweight wheels. I have 3 piece CCW on my C5 Vette and get alot of compliments on them. Check out the SP20a in chrome. They would look great on your Formula in a 17x8 front and 17x10 rear. |

| | CCW custom makes the wheels to fit specific vehicles. It does not matter what you have, they will make the wheels to the correct offset for yor car so you wont have issues with tires rubbing or offsets that will affect the handling of your car. The wheels are also very very light! I like them alot and have them both on my C5 and my Dakota R/T. alot of Vipers and Vettes use the CCW's for race applications. Hope this helps |

| | For the quality its very reasonable. I got 18x11 rears and 18x9 fronts for about $2600 and they are 3 piece wheels. I also got a price on the BBS LM wheels in the same size and the price was almost double! My friend has the LM on his C6 and agrees with me that the CCW is a much better wheel. He actually wanted to trade with me.....That ain't happening! |
