| Saw this over at SVTP. most of you probably have also seen it. but, I just want to know what everyone else thinks. Im not sure if this is going to be the face lifted version, or the complete redesign of the new mustan. im not really huge on the tailights thats for sure. what does everybody else think of it?

| I wish they would take the stupid cover off so we can actually see the taillights cause just like you from first glance I am not big on them at all.

| I am thinking its going to be the basic same design as the current stang. They may just add a a ducktail spoiler standard on the v6 version, from the picture you can tell its the v6 due to the exhaust port, only one. I honestly think the Shelby GT's, the 320 hp one not the 500 is probably one of the sexiest looking stangs. |

| | yeaa. im not liking the tailights to much either. theyre also talking about a power increase, im not really sure by how much though. also if you look at the hood there is some new stuff going on there, theres two lumps on the hood, id really like to see what this thing looks like without all of this crap on it. |

| I heard a rumor that the new GT will have the same front fascia as the current GT500. And they really never increase the power that much I mean they went from 265 to 300, but if the Camaro is dropping 400 they need to keep up right? I think the Camaro will be heavy though so will 350-360 be the number?? I think I will be a little mad if they make it 400, cause if they jumped that much from the 05-09 why couldn't they jump that much when they remodeled it for the 05 model, ya know..Anyway, can't wait to see it without the cover.
Mike
BTW I just noticed if you look through the one headlight you can kinda see that it does look like the GT500 front fascia..can u notice that too or am I seeing things?? lol It looks bent inwards. _________________ I want what every man wants..to get BLOWN! MY 07 R.I.P.

| i heard that the new hurricane engine might have something to do with competing with chevy and dodge........so maybe some form of that engine will be in the new mustangs
but all i know is that if they jump the gt to above 380hp and offer screaming yellow....i'll swap mine for it lol
and Mike, i would actually be pissed if they did that because I bought mine in 05 and it took them 3 years to add cooler features and watch and see it'll take them another 2 years to increase the power on these cars yet they knew of how to put more horsepower in our car before hand but didn't.
Yet they released the 500hp boss engine -- based on the hurricane engine a while ago which makes no sense. _________________ 93 Tunes, C&L CAI, Custom 8.8 Rear with 3.73/TLok, Ford Racing X-Pipe with Dual MRT Aerotubines, Sequential Taillights, Avic-D3... | | ehh verdict on that is still out maybe if they made that glass roof removable it might have a fighting chance still the only place that design would be a big hit are the states that don't have to deal with flying debris rain snow basically everything jersey is already known for |

yeah but this wouldnt be the only version of a glass roof, it may not be functional like the edge or scion but its still a glass roof lol would be great if it was functional in some way _________________ 93 Tunes, C&L CAI, Custom 8.8 Rear with 3.73/TLok, Ford Racing X-Pipe with Dual MRT Aerotubines, Sequential Taillights, Avic-D3... | Yeah I saw it, I am not sure....depends if they made any modifications to the fenders or frame, if not then it should bolt right to ours.....i like it, probably very pricey though $$$$ _________________ 93 Tunes, C&L CAI, Custom 8.8 Rear with 3.73/TLok, Ford Racing X-Pipe with Dual MRT Aerotubines, Sequential Taillights, Avic-D3... | Not much of a difference... Think the front looks a bit better, and the rear looks a bit worse.
I love the paint though _________________ '97 GT. Installed: Pypes O/R X, Flowmaster 40's, Eibach's, 3.73's Yet to be installed: Bassani ML's, full 2002 PI swap. |

| i saw other pictures of it, and it looks beautiful, but with that custom paint it looks horrible. you can't really see the body lines. how can you not like this but looks like there is no trunk btw look at the mirrors
