| you kind of need it for stability at high speed...
a spoiler usually won't make a difference if it's not even with, or above the roof line.
the reason spoilers make no sense on fwd cars is because they need traction to the front wheels so putting a spoiler in the back does nothing.
that's a completely carbon fiber body on that car. |

| Well....since you asked....a 1987 Mustang GT convertible!! It's always been my favorite so I bought one a little over 3 years ago.
It's been a work in progress since then and I am looking forward to showcasing it to all of you once it is finished!!! |

Apexcone HID's, Billet Flywheel, Centerforce Dual Friction, Dashhawk, FRPP rear end girdle, Steeda gtrac, steeda torque box brace, GI Joe 8 rib kit and tensioner, Pypes O/R X-pipe, msd 2-step, steeda oil separator. 500 whpon 93, around 520 i guess on 112octane. Tuned by Evoltion Performance. Best of 12.48 at 117.

I always thought it was the front end that made it awful at that speed, not the rear.
It always feels like the front end has more lift than drag.
I was at 150...somewhere... and I attempted to make a slight right turn, and the car really didn't like that idea. Was such a fight to get it to turn. _________________ '97 GT. Installed: Pypes O/R X, Flowmaster 40's, Eibach's, 3.73's Yet to be installed: Bassani ML's, full 2002 PI swap. |
