| Went to the MCA International Mustang show in Canada last week, Friday thru Sunday. Took home another First. The reason I'm writing is I've fell in love with my V-6 again! We went to Toronto Motor Sports Park a cruise. On the track I had a Screaming Yellow GT in front of me and he had to brake while I just blew thru the turns with my V-6. He walked away from me on the straights. I stayed back at the end of the straights so he didn't have to brake so hard. But he couldn't get away from me on the turns. After we got our 3 laps, he gets out of his car and asks me to pop the hood because he didn't believe I have a V-6. He asked me what I did to it and all I've done is a T/B spacer, K&N filter and a tune. Next we went to the drag strip. It was each car against the light. I pulled what I expected for my 6'r, 87MPH, 89 MPH but the last one the lights/timer messed up and gave me a 92 MPH. The guy with the GT said if he knew the 6'rs did that he would have bought that instead of his GT. I asked him if he wanted to trade, not really meaning it, he said no. But for the rest of the weekend he kept calling me Speedy. He must have brought 5 people over to look at my car. Oh, all these runs were with my 265 lb Nephew in the car. And I'm no light weight. Wish the tracks in the states would do stuff like that! Who's going to the 45th birthday celabtation in Burmingham Al. next April? Time to start planing, it's on the MCA site. (And www.gsrmc.org) |

still leaves the notion that the guy in the GT really doesn't know how to drive on a road course either that or never pushed his car to the limit because with those cars you barely need brakes going in to turns either that or i am just use to truck suspensions _________________ 2007 Mustang bone stock

| Hey 8-T-TREE, are you planning on attending the 45th anniv. get together next April? I may be up for this depending on my situation next year. Hey, maybe we could have a NJ Stangers cruise to the event. Now that would be something! There's a group out west, I can't recall the name, but they are planning a MASSIVE Mustang cruise from California through Las Vegas and points eastward to the event. They are billing it as The Great American Cruise-in or something to that effect. I would love to join up for that one but we will see what the price of gas is by that time next year!
