Ford announced today its recalling several Mustangs years 2005-2008 for airbag deployment software here is the link on the recall

hey i know this is the second thread for this recall thing, just got off the phone with my buddies at the ford stealer, its some sort of softwear update for how the airbag works.... at least thats what he told me

the recall is a software upgrade because when the passenger seat is full forward the air bags depolying would injure the passenger. what it dose i was told when mine was done .the air bags have softer slightly slower deployment.

same old story wiith these things. i am strongly anti airbag. If you're dumb enough to hit something that hard then u deserve the ouchie.

I know thats kind of closed minded and mean. But thats how i feel.

i won't knock your feelings man.

i used to feel the same way.but my ass is still around and walking thanks to them. . after a bad weak and people live in a bad wreak the people i have known and in real bad have normally changed their minds

i my wreak i was road testing a vw golf all wheel drive, with 240 hp . ricer cut me off and i went under a big box trucks rear end. side ways. totaled the car but thankfully they worked all 6 of them. and saved my life.

I am sorry if this is the wrong area But has any one else had problems with the anit-lock breaks on their 2005 gt? In the rain and snow I have it the brakes they didnt lock up and they did nothing thank God people saw m comming thru the intersection

Ford took my complaint and a few others on the internet had the same story ...

Ford like everything else thats wrong with mine is going to rule it as outside source and that nothing can be done about that
