| hello guy's
my name is charlie and go by the nick name of captchas. mainly because i am a legally licensed captain and hold 100 ton master near coastal ticket. this allows me to run a charter/party boat up to 200 miles off any shore of the usa. i worked as dealer auto master mechanic for 42 years. in nov of 05. i became one of the country's spinal injury disabled . SSD gave me full disablity in may of 06 . i can still walk around, and try to do most of my own work, and reley on my bothers help when he can spare the time to. my military time was USNavy
i am a near 61 year old and well remember the real erea of the muscle cars. and had many of them brand new. my ride is a 07 "built 8/18/06" v6 deluxe ponie car. leather trim, abs . 500 watt shaker/6 disc player. factory installed . she is windveil blue with gold shellby style stripping. gt take off bumpers, grille and spoiler. tires and rims changed from 17 x8 inch to 18x9.0 and 18x10.5. they sport bfg g-force super sports in 255/45 and 275/40. the 40's should be 35 this i am well aware of but my choice was to closlely stay to the 27.1 inch high tires that it did have .the brakes up graded to 12.4 inch gt ones . exhaust is true duals from pypes useing stock gt take offs.the sound is good for a old fart. power wise the motor sports a roots style blower from explorer express. the trans was pulled and a cluster gear support from g-force transmissions used to stop the t5 gear rattle that all t5's suffer from. clutch wise ,while trans was out, i upgraded to a center force d.f. clutch. this is because the stocker could not handle the 305 rwhp and 286 torqe the car now sports the 7.5 inch rear was replaced with a 8.8, 3'73 L.S. take out . track wise i have not done any time trails and to do so would need a person to drive it for me. my spine would not take the launch. nice site and hope it grows

| thanks guy's
sorry there i hail from vernon township in sussex county. up on top of the mountain in the area called highland lakes.
the mods to the drive train can be felt big time. but any one knowing the s197. knows the gt struts, shocks and sway bars are bigger and can make a big differance in handling. while it is good i admit it will get sloppy on some good turns. but i am a muscle car guy and am trying to have a good 1/4 mile car while still being able to street drive and haveing fun showing it .
the blower kit sports serial number 068. not many in the country yet and as i was told it's the first in new jersey. this is no blow though paxton ,procharger type, it has a a cast alloy intake maniflod with the blower up top old school style. the blower is a eaton mp90. same one buick uses. it's only 6 pounds of boost, but IMMO over that the cast alloy pistons can't take it very long. and burn up. if any one would like to know please look at explorer express's web site.
i am looking forward to meeting you all for just a all out day of fun.
they are on my wish list and have to wait till the other half lets loose with the $$ i need.
