| What's up fellas & ladies!
I'm new to this site (found it linked through another Mustang forum), however not new to the Mustang Hobby. I have owned 17 Mustangs to date now (including my current 1994 Cobra). I'm also not new to NJ, born & raised here and I'm currently located in Southern NJ. I'm also a member on many Mustang forums and other automotive forums. I also buy/sell on eBay and have over 1,000+ positive feedbacks.
My Cobra is retains a stock appearance, however it is modified tastefully. When I purchased it, it was 100% bone stock right down to the mufflers and upon finding a few receipts in the trunk well and beach sand, I deemed it came from the Toms River/Ocean County area. It currently has over 140k on it and most folks don't believe the miles due to it's condition until they see the odometer... LOL.
Here's a few pics of my Cobra. It was 1 of many Mustangs chosen by NITTO Tire Co. for a slot in a Mustang ad they were going to run last year. The NITTO Tire Ad had appeared in a few national Mustang magazines on the inside covers, centerfolds & rear covers for the last 7 months or so. I have a few magazines just for posterity and NITTO had also sent me (and the other participants) a full size poster of the actual ad.
Here's the Cobra:

Full size image of the same one used in the NITTO ad:

Hopefully I'll see some of you on the local roads during the summer! It's nice to have a NJ specific Mustang site, as it's great to have all of the NJ folks in one spot instead of having to jump Mustang sites and having to search multiple "regional forums".
Thanks for the introductory space! _________________ - Phil 1994 Cobra coupe 2004 Ford Explorer 1991 BMW 318ic |

| Thx for the compliments - all of you also have very nice rides (and so do many others on this site - I've been surfing it)!
I'm now located in Ocean County near the LBI area, however, I travel to Burlington County everyday for work and am right in the vicinity of Cherry Hill. I'm familiar w/ the towns/regions from Delran, Delanco, Riverside, to Medford, Medford Lakes, Lumberton, Pemberton, Shamong, Vincentown, Indian Mills, Tabernacle, Atco, Berlin to Chatsworth, Toms River, LBI, Barnegat, Bayville, Manahawkin, etc etc etc... I guess you can say I get around... LOL!
I used to drive the Cobra daily through all weather conditions (that's why it has 140k on it). Then I bought an 87 Bronco as my daily, then sold it for a 94 Bronco (of which I modified the 94 Bronco - LOL), then once the gas prices blew up to "INSANE", I sold the 94 Bronco and purchased my 91 BMW 318ic off a very close friend of mine (it's a little 4 banger 1.8 DOHC, 5spd) and it nets great gas mileage (currently been getting 31mpg). So, the Cobra basically is now enjoying the comforts of storage and get's to romp around on the weekends or nice days.
My prior Mustang to the Cobra was a 1990 LX notchback - in fact, I'll be posting a thread on this vehicle, because I'm trying to find the NJ Buyer I sold it to... I've posted it on many other Mustang forums hoping someone in NJ will have seen it around, recognizes the car or even maybe knows the owner of it...
Here's my list of prior Mustangs I've had the joy of owning:
1985 LX notchback, auto, Silver, Red cloth interior 1968 coupe w/289, auto, Turquoise, 2 tone Aqua interior 1986 GT, 5spd, Jalepena Red, T-Tops, Grey cloth interior 1983 GT, 5spd, Black, sunroof, Black interior 1968 fastback, 351, auto, Black, Black interior 1984 SVO, 5spd, Silver, Grey cloth interior 1984 SVO, 5spd, Black, Grey cloth interior 1992 GT, 5spd, Black, Grey leather interior, sunroof 1985 GT, 5spd, Canyon Red, Grey cloth interior 1988 LX notchback, 5spd, Yellow, Gray cloth tweed interior (ext. color was a repaint) 1985 GT, 5spd, Jalepena Red, Tan cloth interior 1985 GT Convertible, auto, Jalepena Red, Gray cloth interior (this was originally CFI & auto, I converted it to EFI & 5spd) 1986 LX notchback EX-FL SSP, 5spd, Black, Tan cloth interior, option delete vehicle 1996 Cobra, 5spd, Laser Red, Black leather interior, Mach 460 1990 LX notchback, 5spd, Crystal Blue Metallic, black cloth interior 1994 Cobra coupe, 5spd, Rio Red, Black cloth, Mach 460 (current Mustang)
LOL - there's one other Mustang I had, but can't currently remember... I'd have to look through my past registrations to find it.. LOL...
I mainly post on Corral.net, but as I said before, I'm on MANY forums (under the same user ID as here or "Cobra Jet NJ") - so I maybe I have crossed paths with some of you during my net travels... Again, it's nice to see a true NJ Mustang website online and I'm sure it will grow!
As for spreading the word to get more NJ Mustangers on here, I've included "njstangers.com" in my sig lines on other forums... Hopefully more local Mustang Enthusiasts will stop in! _________________ - Phil 1994 Cobra coupe 2004 Ford Explorer 1991 BMW 318ic |
