| Hi guys,
If you're looking for anything from a great mechanic to custom fabricated exhaust system, we're the shop for you. Robie Customs was established in 2007. We're very honest, decently priced and take a lot of pride in what we do.
Our shop is located in Lodi, New Jersey right off of Rt. 46 East.
Our services include:
- MIG/TIG welding repairs and custom fabrication (aluminum, mild and stainless steel)
- Powder coating (very quick turnaround!) - With access to over 6,500 colored powders, we can powder coat anything that will fit in a 3'x3'x3' oven. Graphics/logos are available as well.
- Polishing - Custom metal polishing of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, magnesuim, copper, brass, etc. We can also polish some plastics such as auto light lenses. Can be combined with powder coating for durability and more visual variety
- Porting - intakes, cylinder heads, throttle bodies, turbo housings and more.
- Dyno HP Runs and Dyno Tuning - We offer full in-house Dyno tuning using our state-of-the-art (FWD) Dynojet 248C, capable of handling up to 1200 RWHP. Baseline runs are $80, and you get 2 pulls back to back, and a printout. Dyno Tuning sessions (tuning done by you) are $120 per hour including printouts. Tuning also provided by Real Deal Motorsports for an extra charge.
-Installation - No project is too big, or too small, from engine swaps and turbo kits, to something as simple as replacing light bulbs.
-General repairs & maintenance -We also do some motorcycle repairs and dress up...and much more!
John Robie was a Ford dealer mechanic for almost 3 years, so he knows our cars very well
PM me if you're interested or visit our website www.robiecustoms.com for full explanation of services and photo gallery.
Thanx!! OB

Hi,
In order to give you an accurate estimate without you coming in n putting it up on the lift, I need to know pipe diameter, stainless or mild, how many bends (if any), if you want flanges (if so, what kind - 3 bolt, 2 bolt, v-band or whatever).
The price can swing wildly btw mild n stainless because stainless prices are very high right now. There's no mark up on whatever pipe we use, so you can go buy it yourself if you want or thru us. Whichever works best for you. It will be TIG welded. _________________ Fast girls love fast Fords...what can I say?!

| 2.5 Dia, Its only one bend,The tips would have to be opened, 2 bolt flanges and stainless Steel. No welding is needed. I plan on just haveing it clamped on so I can replace it from time to time with cats for inspection reasons.
Also I would like to get a quote on installing 3 electrical gauges (Wideband, Vac/Boost, and fuel pressure) I have the pods already just need an install.... Thanks Steph!

By the tips being "opened", are you referring to a slip fit style connection? Also, we don't bend tubing, so the part would be welded together mandrel bent sections.
If you are planning on removing it, you may want to consider v-band flanges instead, they are much more user friendly. Regular exhaust clamp style unions are a real pain to get apart without mangling the outer pipe... Unless you use the band style clamps, which cost almost as much as v-bands anyway, and they tend to crack over time. Removing the cats will leave you with a check engine light as well, there is a second set of O2 sensors either in or just after the cat that check to make sure it is operating properly. If they are missing, or they don't read dead lean (as they would with an operational cat installed) they will set a code. They have MIL eliminators designed to feed the pcm a fake lean signal, you can find them in Jegs or Summit Racing.
Also, Removing the Cats is against the law in nj. If you are caught driving with no cats, your car can be impounded. If you choose to have me make the pipe, you will be required to sign a waiver stating that it is to be used for off road use only.
Also, for the gauges, you need to check the directions for the wideband O2. Some require the addition of their own sensor, in which case I will have to weld a bung into the exhaust, usually next to an existing 02. Best bet would be to do that anyway, rather than splice the signal wire into existing 02 wiring, making it easier for you to avoid issues with warranty etc. Also, makes diagnostic issues a lot easier (read cheaper) later on in case of a failure, ( for example, if the guage stops working but no check engine light, then you know it's the sensor for the wideband).
If you have the gauges done at the same time as the pipe, and require an additional bung welded, it would be around $150, with you providing the parts. Would be a little more if you do them separately, as I'll likely have to remove the pipe to properly weld the bung.
The pipe will be around $150 labor to make, plus the cost of the materials, and beware, stainless is not cheap. You can check out burnsstainless.com to give you an idea, as they are my supplier. _________________ Fast girls love fast Fords...what can I say?!
