PostSubject: All of my races to date.   Sat Jul 19, 2008 12:30 pm

I'm bored and have time to kill, so I'm going to just list off every race I've run.

Cobalt SS Stage 2:

From a stop on route 23 at a light. Even through 1st, he pulled two cars through 2nd, and another 3 through 3rd. I backed off at 80, I officially lost.

Mazda MPV minivan:

From a stop at a light in Saddlebrook. Didn't launch until he had a 5 car headstart. Passed him on the 1-2 shift. Was pretty funny.

"Built" Civic hatch. Torn out interior, LS swap, and some other random crap:

Surprisingly quick car. Ran from a 30 roll 3 times on Route 17, the longest/best run of the 3 he had a car and a half head start, I passed him by the top of 3rd and kept pulling, but not that quickly.

1994 BMW 750iL:

More of a top speed race than anything else. He got behind me and started highbeaming me, so we started going at it. Started from a 60 roll and exceeded 150MPH before backing off, we stayed basically dead exactly where we started until at around 120 I started gaining a little, but once again not really that fast. Extremely fun though, the best race I've had.

Brand new Porsche Cayman S:
I don't know what this guy's story is, I was cruising down 17 and he starts to get on it as soon as I get behind him. Now, either it's not that fast or he wasn't TRULY on it, but I just stayed on him all the way to 120, when he backed off. I was really expecting more out of it. I wanted to lose to that car.

Jaguar XF:
On the way to Wiskey last week. I come up behind him and he gets in the middle lane, I pass him and then he just flies by me. It took me a second to realize that he was actually flooring it, because..it's a Jaguar. A new Jaguar. I downshift to 4th and catch up to him but we hit traffic before I had a chance to pass. I look over and he shrugs and starts laughing.

Dodge Ram 1500:
Another weirdo, does basically the same thing as the XF, except the Ram is actually fast? I downshifted to 4th but I generally had a hard time catching back up. I did eventually catch him and I look over, and he shrugs. I don't get it?

Whipple Supercharged Mustang GT owned by Kevin:

I didn't even attempt to try.

Steph's 5.0:
From a stop on some random road in Clifton, it had rained that day so it was wet. Both lanes were wet, in fact. Razz

Spun through 1st and 2nd, we stayed even, once I hit 3rd I pulled half a car before backing off. If I had hooked it wouldn't have been anywhere near that close.

1991 BMW 318i:

Short and sweet, ran down one block from a 2nd gear 15-20 roll, passed him by the end of the block/top of 2nd.

SR20DET swapped 240SX:

From a 50-ish roll, downshifted to 4th and took off on him, he didn't have a chance. I pretty much killed it. Very disappointingly slow car.

Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V:

40 roll, had him by 7+ cars by the top of 3rd. Another terribly slow car.

Ferrari 308:

Route 80, 60 roll, stayed even till 90, where my radar detector started going off like mad. I backed off, he didn't. He just kept going... I lost sight of him pretty quick. Cool to see someone actually drive a Ferrari like that, especially an old one.

That's pretty much all I can remember. I'm sure there's been more, less serious runs and stuff.

Maybe I race too much Razz
