| well this was about 2 weeks after the 410s went in. havent raced her at this point with them so i was itchin for a race . i didnt care what it was i wanted a good race. i was almost looking to lose. so anyway, me and my buddy brian were cruising down rt42 looking for trouble. well... trouble found us. a m6, yes thats right a m6 blew by us then slammed on the brakes to get back to me. rolls down the window and asks if we want to go. i said sure let get this light. so we slowed down and managed to get the red. i hit the run button and stage her at 2k. i hear him try 2 stage but broke the tires loose a little so he didnt. light turns green i slam the gas to the floor, my ass kicks out , not to bad but enough to loose the jump. so i chirp 2nd and at this point to both our suprise were back even with the m6. when i hit 3rd im maby 1/2 a fender in front. hes not letting off and neither am i. i hit 4th and start to slowly walk away. i didnt know what to say. he lets off and darts into the wawa. i bang the next uturn to go talk 2 him. well i pull up and and the first thing i ask is that just a 6 series w/m badges (only thing that made sence to me). sure enough it was a M6. i asked him if he missed a gear? he didnt. he asks me how much boost im running. i told him its n/a. he said pull so i pop the hood. sure enough no super/turbo charger. hes pissed at this point. so hes like what do u have done. i list my mods, cai/tune, axle back, and 4.10s. he calls b.s. hes like, were going again as soon as my girl get outs. so she comes out. we get back in our car and get to the next light. this time i didnt slam the gas on green i let her go a little then slammed it so i knew i was going to have traction. well this time by the time i chirped 2nd my tires were at his window, 3rd im totally in front , and as soon as i hit 4th i flash my hazards and let off. next light hes like 1 more time. as this point i was bored with him, lol. i said no i think ive embarassed ur enough. and let him storm away. me and brian couldnt belive we just beat a m6 in my close to stock gt. _________________

| sounds like bs but nice kill anyway. i tried to race m3 once, and i couldn't even catch up with him, from the start i saw his rear bumper and in a few seconds i couldn't even see him anymore. _________________ Vlad

Your 4.10's wouldn't make up a full second. Only way I see this is you raced someone who didn't know how to drive, therefore you beat the driver, not the car. _________________

| how is the difference between 12.9 and 13.39 a full second. the 13.39 was done with near bald tires and 331s. _________________

| Reading that kill story i must say nice kill story BUT i must say if the other driver can't drive his whip for then of course your going to beat him if your car is close to his on time or power plus i give you some credit those bigger gears you have are going to give you a jump every time you shift not a big one but decent enough to get a inch or so every shift AND its always said it's not the power it's the driver who wins as seen many time at island I say dont knock em till you try em |

M6 1/4 listed as 12.5 Yes you won on drivers error, that's what I said before. _________________

| I was gonna say... It would be a very hard for an s197 to beat a stock M6...Even if the s197 has some bolt ons... The guy probably had no idea how to drive the thing. But it def. feels nice to walk a nice/fast/expensive car like that. |
