| got pulled over going from route 15 south to 80 east. i knew i was speeding, cop says he got me at 90 in a 55. which i knew was BS cause i looked down and i was doing 80. wound up giving me a ticket for 78 in a 55. trying to act like he cut me a break....yea...right. Radar detector never went off, even when he was directly behind me right off my bumper. court date is 6/4.
not bad, driving for 5 years and finally got one.

I just got my first ticket last week. But it was only a parking ticket lol

| ehhh thats not bad got 3 tickets in one pull over on rt 23 in west milford coming back from mountain creek. they were speeding 41 miles over the speed limit 96 in a 55, reckless driving and obstructed view. That equaled out to 10 pts

i have had two ticket since my driving career started one was for a seatbelt which was bs the only reason the cop gave me the ticket is because of the sticker i use to have on my car that said bad cop no donut and the other was for illegally towing a cop car out of a flood needless to say my tickets were for funny purposes

| you were probably doing 90 before you saw the lights and looked at the speedo...LOL.
on 80, you can do 80 and get away with hit, you get close to 90 and you trip their "it's worth it to pull them over" ometer in most cases. it happens brotha, don't sweat it. it will cost, but there are many peoplee in this world that will have it worse than you.
I got bagged doing 90 in my jeep waaaay back in the day (1996). he actually whacked it down to 65 in a 55 (being an EMT at the time helped a little)

| lol thats the thing, i wasn't on rt. 80 yet, i was getting onto route 80.
ive been trying to call the damn court to enter my plea but no one's fuggin there to answer the phones, and their voicemail box is full.
anyone have a clue what the cost of my ticket would be around? I tried to enter on their site but guess what...that doesnt work either...i fuggin hate government garbage.

| nm, finally got ahold of them $200. got my court date rescheduled to July 2nd. lol which works out well because then my insurance wont be notified till after, and i have to renew in June. hehehehehheh

Mav, do a search on the web re: fighting tickets. might want to subpeona records re: calibration of the unit used to bank you.
more importantly, sometimes the prosecutor will allow you to plea to something like operating vehicle in an unsafe manner (basically more expensive ticket, but NO POINTS) I would jump on it if offerred.
you can do that like once every 3 years or something like that if i remember correctly.

| yea i already looked a lot of that up. and you can only use it twice in 5 years, you can plea down to unsafe driving, pay a 280 ticket and no points.
id be curious about the radar issue though, considering i dont think the SOB even used one, i mean i know detectors dont pick up everything, but this one didn't pick up ANYTHING from them.

| Yea im a lil late lol but i ended up with 5 pts the cop didnt show up the first time and the second time i went he didnt show up either. The prosecutor was a freaking ahole and wouldnt let me plea bargain anything but since the cop didnt show up he dropped my speeding and obstructed view ticket and I think i paid like 360 bucks or something like that. Plus my Lawyer which I paid like $1500 bucks too didnt do crap since he didnt know the prosecutor, so I would suggest getting a lawyer within the town the court is at.

| i got pulled over last nite and the jerkoff told me i was doing 80 in a 40 witch i wasnt cause one i was on a bridge and two there were cars in front of me and on the side, plus on the ticket the radar detector slot isnt checked, i will fight it
