| For everyone's safety and peace of mind, pls. check the last 4 digits on the back of your tires. The last 4 digits indicate the week and the year the tire was made. Example: 4201= 42nd week of 2001. If you go to the store and look at a new tire with this code; you are buying a 7- year old tire. With time, the inner structure of the tires dries up and cracks resulting to fatal accidents. So, not all brand new tires out there are necessarily new. Got this at work so be careful. Thanks Eddie. _________________ Tracks Are For Racing Not The Streets!!!!

| Yeah, barely anyone knows about the date codes.
Just to add my own piece of advice. Check your pressures once a month. Low tires rip the hell out of the tread/sidewall, can overheat and explode, make your car slower and use more gas uselessly.
So yeah, fill 'em up. _________________ '97 GT. Installed: Pypes O/R X, Flowmaster 40's, Eibach's, 3.73's Yet to be installed: Bassani ML's, full 2002 PI swap. |
