| so i've been sitting by the window overlooking the front lawn/street doing some work on my laptop the past hour or so and i hear one of those rice rockets coming down the street. hoping it's paul walker(jk) i look outside and this white civic with a coffee can on the back stops in the middle of the street in front of my house and starts revving his engine. both me and my brother have gt mustangs with deep dish rears so i guess he wanted to act tough. i thought about going outside and chasing him but once he stalled out down the street i realized he'll probably hit a divider at 115mph this weekend street racing. sometimes i wonder if having bad taste in cars is a birth defect  |

| | I have a similar story like that. One of my neighbors has a Civic and wanted to race me and I told him that I didnt want to lose my license. He decided to follow me up rt. 18 one day and got next to me and tryed to start a race. I shook my head ok and we counted to 3 and when we hit 3 i started to speed up, but let him pass me. About 5 miles down the road he got pulled over for speeding. It was great. |

After I did my full exhaust with headers, I stopped getting revved at. I think they're scared because when I rev my engine, you get that odd kinda pain that you get at concerts when you stand next to the speakers hahaha
Funny thing is...Mike (v8venom)'s exhaust is way louder than mine haha |

maybe you didnt read the post right, my car was parked in the driveway, and my brothers was parked in the street! I was doing work on my laptop and saw the idiot from the window. headers would be awesome but they wouldnt have done anything here |

I read it right. You just need to intimidate him beforehand.
It happened to me and a friend once. We were working on our cars and this guy in some crapbox (i forget what it was) keeps driving by making noise. Just for shits and giggles we decided to stand two 20lb nitrous bottles next to my car while we worked. He looked, slowed down, and proceeded to keep quiet. Intimidation FTW. |
